Description The reported object is a silver decorative ring with a circular bezel with retains three small fragments of pink stone set in mastic. The band is decorated with a transverse band of decoration (?floral, very worn) at junction with the bezel, and pairs of incised lines on each side of the hoop flanking a worn single pellet line around its circumference In terms of design and style of the iconography, the ring belongs to the late fifteenth- to early sixteenth century (the shoulder design being typical). Descriptions Socketed axe fragment Dimensions: surviving length 24.5mm; surviving width 50.8mm; width at break 42.0mm; thickness at break 12mm; weight 54.8g. This is the lower blade and cutting edge of a socketed axe, broken across the internal socket aperture in antiquity. Incomplete decorated shoe buckle made from pinchbeck. The buckle is sub rectangular in shape, and is curved in order to fit a shoe. The central pin of the buckle is missing. The reverse of the buckle is smooth with no decoration. The buckle is highly decorated with lozenge shapes, curves and groups of 4 pellets. Overall the buckle is in good condition. Date is thought to be 18th or 19th century. The buckle weighs 14.3g and is 50mm in length by 39mm in width.

A cast copper alloy post medieval belt hook / strap fitting AD 1450 - 1650. The plate is heavily corroded and eroded and much detail has been lost. The strap fitting is broadly triangular in form - from the lower edge projects a blunt ended hook which has been cast in one piece and rolled to shape its current form. Blade fragment from either a spear or possibly a rapier of middle-late bronze age date (c. 1450 - 800 BC). The blade is relatively undiagnostic and is most likely from a spear. It is triangular in plan with a lentoid cross section across the blade. Remains of a high mi-rib is present and this would have given strength to the blade when used. A near complete cast copper alloy / bronze ribbed socketed axe of later Bronze Age / Ewart Park date (950-750 BC). The axe is incomplete it has lost a large suction of one side including the mouth / socket. Within the axe is a large substantial wooden haft which is fiberous in nature and relatively well preserved. The axe is relatively robust and would originally have had a square shaped mouth.
