Late Bronze Age bronze end-winged axe, belonging to the Carp's Tongue complex of Ewart Park metalworking, corresponding to Needham's (1996) Period 7 and dated to c. 950-750BC. The winged axe is incomplete, missing both wings on the unlooped side (the axe has an overall length of 1360.9mm and a weight of 282.8g). The butt protrudes beyond the return of the wings (by 14mm) and expands to the end (with a width of 22.4mm and a thickness of 6.1mm). Freestanding discoidal crudely cast lead, or lead alloy weight decorated with a cross motif. Diameter 23-25mm, thickness 6.5mm, weight 23 grams. Lead weights such as these could have performed a variety of functions such as unofficial weights and measures used by traders and merchants. Dating them is difficult, excavated examples range in date from the medieval period to the nineteenth century.

Post medieval copper alloy trade weight of mid-17th to early 18th century date The weight is stamped with a crowned W, probably for William III, a sword and ewer for London. The weight now weighs 12.0g, equivalent to 0.4232 ounces and would originally have been a half-ounce weight. There is comparatively large void within the weight from a casting flaw. The surface has a mid to dark green patina.

A cast lead or lead alloy weight of probable late Medieval or Post Medieval date (1250 - 1700). The weight is irregular in plan being broadly oval in shape with a D shaped cross section. Neither face or sides are decorated. The centre of the weight is pierced, the hole is oval shaped with a maximum diameter of 11.2mm. Cast lead alloy weight with integrally cast loop of probable medieval or post medieval date (1250 - 1700). The weight is broadly cylindrical. The loop formed by two wedges being cut away leaving a rectangular sectioned projection - a drilled hiole is present but is somewhat elliptical probably through wear (diameter 3.2mm). There seems to be no decoration present. The weight is a mid grey cream colour with a good relatively unabraded patina. Where abrasion has occurred this has revealed the grey metal beneath. Copper alloy looped fitting, probably from a vessel of uncertain date. The loop is cast and is complete (with an overall length of 31.2mm and a weight of 25.2g). The loop is oval (with a height of 26.4mm and a width of 30.6mm; 13.9mm x 17.4mm internal) and is comparatively substantial with a sub-oval section (7.9mm wide and 6.7mm thick).
