A near complete cast copper alloy and enamel Medieval harness pendant dating from 1200 to 1400 AD. The harness pendant is shield-shaped with an integrally cast loop; the front is decorated in relief blue enamel depicting a unicorn rampant.  The suspension loop is 8.5mm long with a loop hole (2.6mm in diameter) which is set 90 degrees from the shield. A complete pierced Post Medieval copper alloy Taunton farthing trade token, dated 1667. Obverse description: A capital letter T under a tun/cask, two roses flanking the base of the T. Obverse inscription: A • TAVNTON • FARTHING Reverse description: Taunton castle. Reverse inscription: BY • THE • CONSTABLES • 1667 • A hole measuring 2.5mm in diameter is punched through from the reverse (castle side) to the obverse. The token is a shiny brassy colour (caused by the coastal mud) and has a worn and pitted surface.

A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy weight, dating from c. 1500 AD to 1800 AD. The coin weight is disk shaped with two flat faces. One face has been stamped X X at the centre. Above this is a stamped letter D. Below the initials is another unclear oval shaped stamp. On the other face X X is again stamped, due to corrosion it is not clear if the other stamps are also repeated. The weight is dark grey-brown in colour with small areas of green corrosion. Some of the original surface is lost to corrosion.

Middle Bronze Age bronze dirk, probably of Group III weapons with a damaged butt The dirk is near-complete with some peripheral damage to the butt (with a length of 121.3mm and a weight of 31.0g). The apex and shoulders of the butt are corroded and rounded (with a width of 31.1mm and a thickness at the apex of 0.8mm). A fragment of a socketed axehead of later Bronze Age date. The fragment comprises the blade and front portion of the axehead, which is 30.05mm in length, with a maximum width of 38.09mm. The cross section is subrectangular, the side profile is triangular and the blade edge is curved. The rear end reveals the hollow interior of the casting. The fragment is heavily abraded and corroded and the cutting edge has been lost.

A heavily corroded and incomplete Roman cast copper alloy trumpet brooch of later 1st to 2nd century date. The head is D-shaped with a stump for a projecting loop at the front of the head and flanking depressions, one on each wing, which may be the remnants of cells once infilled with enamel. The brooch employed a spring mechanism, now missing, secured around a single, central pierced lug. The bow is sub-rounded in section with a bend at the mid point and a moulded decorative button, possibly originally of acanthus form. The foot and catchplate are lost.
