A badly corroded pewter spoon, broken into three fragments, comprising the rear of the bowl and junction with the stem and two parts of a flat and spade-shaped handle which measured 23.3mm in width. The stem is fluted with a hexagonal cross-section and is 5mm wide, by 4.4mm thick. There is a lozengiform knop in the stem at the junction with the bowl. Three marks are evident on the handle (second image); a four petalled flower, a thistle and a third mark which may be a letter R. A Medieval copper alloy rotary key, circa AD 1100-1500, which has broken in two. The shank is cylindrical with a circular cross section of 8.2mm diameter, and has a hollow end at the bit. The bit itself is two part, with complex and asymetrically cut wards measuring 27.1mm by 17.9mm by 9mm. The bow is openwork and lozengiform, with a lobed knop at each of three vertices. It meets the shank at a large ovoid collar, where there is a break.
