A complete lead discoidal spindle whorl of Early Medieval to Medieval date (AD 700-1100).
The spindle whorl is circular in plan and has a rectangular cross section. It fits into the Walton Rogers classification form B. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 10.4mm. No decoration is present on either side.
The whorl is cream in colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.

An incomplete lead or lead alloy biconvex spindle whorl, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1500).
The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan, with a central, circular perforation extending vertically through the object (internal diameter 8.9 mm). The sides of the spindle whorl are slightly convex. There are thrre lozenge-shaped mouldings attached to the corners of the object, the fourth is missing due to damage.
The whorl has a diameter of 23.9 mm and is 14.3 mm thick. It weighs 29 grams.

The object is plano-convex in shape with a domed side, rounded edges and a flat base with a central perforation measuring 5.2mm in diameter. It fits into the Walton Rogers classification Form A1. No decoration is present on either side.

A complete lead perforated artefact, probably a weight, dating from the Medieval to Post Medieval period, AD 1100 - 1800.
It is flat in profile, and sub-triangular in plan, with curved sides and rounded corners. It has a rectangular cross section. The object is damaged just under the perforation. The narrow end is perforated with an irregular hole of 4-6mm diameter. It has no decoration present and is cream in colour with an uneven surface patina.
The weight is 58.6mm long, 38mm wide and 9.9mm thick. It weighs 99.3 g.

A fragment from a copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, circa AD 75-200.
The brooch fragment consists of only the lower bow, foot and catchplate.
The lower bow has a sub-triangular cross setction and has no decoration present. The foot consists of a rounded knop. At the reverse, the catchplate is solid.
The brooch is dark green in colour and has an even surface patina.

An incomplete sub square lead alloy artefact of uncertain function and form, but probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
The artefact is sub square in shape. One corner has a circular indentation for attachement. The front exhibits decoration consisting of: five rounded pellets in the centre, in a cross design, within an arched tressure, all within a lozenge shaped cartouche. The reverse has a raised cross design. The corners are rounded.
It measures 17.6mm in length, 16.8 mm wide and 5.6 mm thick. It weighs 5.4 g.
