A fragment of pressed silver from an unidentified object, possibly a shoe horn or rattle of modern date (c.1908). Description: The fragment depicts the image of the character Punch from the Punch and Judy show. just his head remains, which faces front right and the bottom of his hat can be seen.  There is a maker's mark reading 'S&Co' on the left hand side of the head. Lithic implement, likely a scraper, of light grey flint. The item is roughly square shaped and trapezoidal in section. The ventral face features a prominent bulb of percussion, whilst the dorsal face shows flake removals across much of the surface. A removal along the distal edge (viewed dorsally) allow it to slop downward, ending in a sharp edge. There also appears to be a similar removal on the right edge, whilst the left side also slopes to a sharp edge. There appears to be some iron staining along parts of the arrises of the dorsal face. A complete cast lead alloy circular papal bulla of Pope Lucius III dating from the medieval period - 1st September 1181- 25th November 1185. T The front (recta) side of the bulla depicts the faces of Saints Peter and Paul with a cross between them. Over the images appears the abbreviation of St Paul and St Peter 'SPA SPE'. An incomplete Medieval-Post Medieval copper alloy mount, dating to the 15th-17th century. The object is in the form of a stretched oval with traces of a raised rim on the reverse, which would have housed the end of the strap. The front is decorated with two crossed lines, which would have been mirrored on the other side to form a central lozenge. Within the central lozenge is a quatrefoil with eight lines radiating from it. There are pellets in the middle of four of the lines (at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock). Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of a white metal finger ring carried out by the British Museum's Scientific Research sectionidentified the metal as pewter - an alloy of tin, lead and antimony. The alloy indicates the ring is modern. The ring weighs 5.03 grams.

Complete cast copper alloy drop handle. The handle is cast with a hexagonal section. When viewed in plan it is essentially rectangular, but with the upper long side having the corners inverted, so that the frame extends into a short ‘neck’ section. The frame has been finished with a file and the marks are clearly visible. The front face of the handle is decorated with a running series of incised stars, the reverse is plain.
