Post Medieval (mid 16th to 17th centuries) strap mount: The copper alloy strap mount is a sub shield-shape with the upper portion being waisted and the upper edge has a row of three integral triangular knops. The outer face and reverse is undecorated. The reverse has two integral studs which are square in section and are broken. The surface of the mount has a red-brown matte surface. Roman Polden Hill type brooch (AD c. 80-120): The copper alloy brooch is fragmentary. The wings are semi-cylindrical terminating with abraded perforated wing caps. The wings are decorated with a double-stranded low-relief linear grooves. At the junction of the wings and bow head there is there is a perforated lug which supports the chord. Medieval to Post Medieval (1350-1700) vessel handle: The copper alloy handle, which has been cast, is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and tapers to a rounded blunted point. The handle is 'D' shaped in cross section and in profile it is straight. The upper face is decorated with a recessed rectilinear panel that contains a series of raised diagonal lentoid ribs, bordered by smaller lentoid ribs. These ribs are irregularly spaced and shaped. An incomplete, cast copper alloy, double-loop annular buckle. The buckle dates to the Late Medieval to Post Medieval period circa (AD1350-1600). The frame is sub circular in plan with a central pin bar that is of similar width to the frame. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy (seal top) spoon fragment dating to circa (AD 1550-1650). Only the knop and a small part of the stem survive. The bowl and the majority of the stem are missing. The fragment consists of a flat terminal that is sub-oval in plan. Below the terminal is a waisted collar. The collar then narrows to the stem which is circular in cross section. The spoon terminal has a mid brown coloured patina, with areas of a yellow coloured corrosion.
