A silver hammered groat of Edward IV, dating between 1464-70 AD. This coin was minted during these years as part of the 'light coinage' and can be identified as a type Vc which are classified as having quatrefoils by the neck on the obverse and fleurs or trefoils on the cusps. Additionally, there is an extra pellet in one quarter. The coin is in a good condition with all detail still very visible (thickness: 0.4mm; diameter: 25.1mm; weight: 2.98g).
