A silver Roman siliqua of Gratian (AD 367-383) dating to the period AD 375-378 (Reece Period 19). VRBS ROMA reverse type depicting Roma seated left, holding Victory on a globe to left and a downwards pointing spear to right. Mint of Aquileia. RIC IX, p 96, no. 15b3.

A copper alloy Roman coin: a nummus of Gratian, dating from AD367 - 75 (Reece period 19), GLORIA NOVI SAECVLI reverse type depicting the emperor standing, holding standard and shield. Arles mint. Reference: LRBC, Part 2, numbers 525 - 529.
The coin is damaged, a portion being missing between 1 o'clock and 5 o'clock on the obverse. The remaining portion is 15.6mm long, 14.4mm wide and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 1.41gm.

A copper alloy Roman coin; a nummus of Gratian (367-383), Gloria Novi Saeculi type (367 - 375). The coin is oval and has a diameter of 17mm and is 1.6mm thick. It weighs 2g. It was minted at Arles. The coin is quite corroded and the edges are damaged. This coin may be a contemporary copy. For reference see Late Roman Bronze Coinage 498 - 529. The mintmark is not completely legible.
