A lead probable weight of unknown date, Roman to Post medieval, AD 43 - 1900. The weight is semi-circular in plan and appears to be a circular weight that has been cut in half, as the straight edge is smooth and patinated, but cuts across a circular recess in the centre of the reverse. The upper face has a raised rim, and some raised markings in the centre, now unintelligible. The sides are angled, so the front is larger than the back, making it trapezoid in cross-section.  It weighs 24.59g, and is 28.2mm in length, 15.5mm wide, and  thickness is…

A circular lead object, probably a weight of Medieval to post medieval date, AD 1200 - 1900. It has sloping sides and a shallowy domed top. There are three circular depressions in a line across the top face - perhaps the anchoring points for a missing wire handle. Measurments are; diameter 42.6mm, thickness 19.3mm and weight 221g. The mass suggests that, with a missing handle,  this was intended as an 1/2 pound (8oz) weight in the mercantile, Avoirdupois or Imperial systems.

A lead token, Post Medieval in date, AD 1550 - 1800. It is biface and has a complicted design which is very faint on one face. It appears to be a very ornamented merchanct's mark, making it Powell Class 20, but this is not certain. There are large chevrons of cross hatched lattice work, a central shaft, and at the base of the shaft, two arcs among further crossing lines. The fainter side may be a repeat of the same pattern but it is not clear. Measurements are; diameter 26.7mm, thickness 2.4mm and weight 10.88g.
