An incomplete Medieval buckle plate, dating to c.AD 1200 - 1400. The buckle plate is rectangular in plan and section, at one end are two incomplete rectangular attachments, the opposing end has two circular rivet holes, one of these retains a cylindrical rivet. The front of the plate is decorated, due to wear, much of this decoration is obscured. The underside of the plate is undecorated.

Copper alloy seal matrix. Cast circular matrix with a tapered faceted handle with a collared trefoil suspension loop. The handle and loop are abraded but the engraved matrix remains crisp. It depicts [on the imprint] a stag running left, with the legend: *TIMET E DEVM [he fears God?] – this reporter would welcome a reading making better use of the middle E character. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch, dating to c.AD 80 BC - 250. The brooch appears to have originally been trefoil shaped in plan, one of the lobes is missing. Each lobe is decorated with a convex circular boss. At the top of the brooch is a drop shaped protrusion which to the rear houses the lug to support the now missing pin. Part of the catchplate remains and sits in the centre of the lower lobe.
