An incomplete copper alloy object, probably a Post Medieval book clasp dating from AD 1600 - 1800. It is sub-rectangular, with a wide blunt hook, or an incomplete hinge loop at one end. The sides are a complex scalloped shape. The other end is straight but is probably a break. There are traces of elief decoration on the front, and the reverse is plain. Measurements are; length 15.8mm, width 15.4mm, thickness 1.4mm and weight 0.80g. Compare HAMP-4EF407.

A copper alloy Post Medieval mount in the form of an acorn, dating from AD 1500 - 1700. The mounts is in the form of an acorn with a short length of stem at the base. The body of the mount is essentially a narrow pointed oval shape with a pointed upper end surmounted by a knop. A moulded groove marks the boundary between the nut and the cup. A copper alloy incomplete Medieval spur buckle dating from AD 1200 - 1400. The buckle frame is missing. There is a hole for the missing pin, and then a rivet hole in the oval area at the frame end of the plate. The rest of the plate is narrow, and expands into a smaller oval area at the other end, before a truncated narrower extension, which is either a very narrow plate or an incomplete hook. The front is convex and the back is flat. There are traces of gilding.  Measurements are; length 25.1mm, width 12.4mm, thickness 2.3mm and weight 1.68g.

An incomplete copper alloy Medieval harness pendant dating from AD 1200 - 1400. It is shield shaped with a straight top, convex sides tapering to a point, but the lower part is missing. An integral suspension loop projects form the upper edge, at right angles to the plane of the pedant. The metal is unusually thin for a harness pendant. No evidence of any decoration survives. Measurements are; length33.8mm, width 23.7mm, thickness 3.2mm and weight 2.46g.

A cast copper alloy domed mount, of Post Medieval date, about AD 1700 - 1900. The mount is circular in plan with a pronounced stud in the centre having a small indentation in the middle. The mount then has a series of three rounded layers. There is a white metal coating. The reverse of the dome is hollow and on the back of the plate are two integral attachment spikes, on the edges, which are broken but curve inwards to the centre. An incomplete copper alloy bar mount probably from a casket or item of furniture, probably of Medieval date, AD 1100 - 1400. The mount is a bar of D shaped cross-section. One end bends to the side and tapers to a worn rounded blunt end. At the other end, the bar thickens and is moulded into a zoomorphic animal head, looped ears towards the broken end of the bar. Two copper alloy rivets pass through the animal head moulding. A deep groove across the bar by one of the rivets is probably post depositional damage. A copper alloy pin of Roman date, AD 41 - 410. It has a spherical head on the top of which is a slightly raised rectangle of metal (possibly representing a poppy seed head).  Beneath the head is a groove, then a reel moulding with concave sides. Another groove marks the start of a band of oblique incised lines. This pattern of groove, reel, oblique lines, groove is repeated and finally there is another groove before the plain shaft tapers.  The lower part of the shaft, is missing. A circular, lead probable pedestal seal matrix probably of Post-Medieval date, AD 1500 - 1700. The face has a six petalled flower in the centre in counter relief with the suggestion of an inscription around it, but this is illegible. The reverse is convex with a series of etched lines from the outside to the centre stub of the matrix. The handle is incomplete. It has a dark grey patina and is 17.7mm in diameter and 10.7mm high. It weighs 7.6g.
