A complete cast copper alloy bar mount of medieval date, c. AD 1300-1400. The mount is a D-sectioned bar with a convex, hemispherical waist. The bar may be decorated with traverse bands, however the metal's surface is now very corroded obscuring possible detail. The arms of the bar taper to blunt points; one point appears to terminate in an old break. It is sub-rectangular in plan, with rounded corners and sides which taper to the upper edge which terminates in a small curved knop. The object is made from two thin sheets which are connected by a circular copper alloy rivet which remains in the upper centre of the sheets. The metal's surface has a smooth, dark green patina. An incomplete, badly corroded, debased copper alloy finger ring of Roman date (c. AD 100 - 350). The triangular shoulders and rectangular bezel survive, but are badly corroded with no evidence of any decoration or inscription.  The finger ring shape is reminiscent of a Henig Type VIII.
