An incomplete, post Medieval silver coin; a half groat of Charles I, group D, Tower mint under the crown, dating from AD 1645 - 1646. Sun initial mark. North (1991) Volume 2, number 2258 on page 162. The coin has been damaged; with part torn away and missing. The remaining portion is 17.07mm long, 13.44mm wide and 0.51mm thick. It weighs 0.53g.
