A complete Iron Age gold stater of British uninscribed North Eastern (Corieltavi). Kite type dating to the period c. 20 BC - AD 10. Reverse shows lunate horse left, kite containing four pellets above with pellets and annulet below. Obverse is very worn, possible crescents and cloak. ABC 1761. (VA 825-1).
Diameter 17 mm, thickness 2.5 mm and weight 5.7 g.

Obverse: retrograde LAT ISO[N] between two plain lines over vertical wreath. Pellet in diamond between LAT and ISO. Ring of pellets in each quarter.
Reverse: lunate horse right, large open head, five pellets on the mane, SO or ISO (retrograde) inscription within box above. Reversed N and inverted V below.

Copper alloy brooch. Cast Colchester brooch, Mackreth type C 3.3. Short plain wings mask a three coiled spring with a chord held by a backward pointing hook which projects from the back of the wings. The wings are at the top of a narrow bow with rounded front and facetted back which tapers to a plain foot [catch plate lost]. Suggested date: Late Iron Age, 25-50.

A cast, copper alloy strap slider, dating to the late Iron Age or Romano-British period (c. 100 BC - AD 100). The slider is in the form of a pointed oval, the decoration comprised of concentric circular grooves creating an eye motif. The outer ring was coated with red enamel and the centre with blue enamel; traces of the enamel survive. The surface has a mottled green patina, but there are areas of smooth, glossy surface suggesting plating or surface enrichments. A fragment of a mini terret ring harness fitting of late Iron Age to early Roman date, around 100 BC - AD 100. The bar is 5.5mm long and slightly oval in section. It terminates at each end with a collar. Beyond the collar on both sides the ring curves up and tapers rapidly to old breaks. On one side the break is worn and smooth, on the other it is more ragged with a small hole in the tip. The terret has a brown and dark green patina. The fragment is 24.9mm long, 12.3mm wide, 6.3mm thick and weighs 3.06g. A complete example can be seen at LVPL-44F1A0 with further discussion.
