4 Lithic implements 1) Side Scraper length 44mm, width 28mm, thickness 10mm. One arise running down the centre of the dorsal with 30% cortex on the right side, bulb is missing from the ventral. The left side has short, direct, scaled, semi-abrupt flaking scars. Mid brown colour with grey core, this artefact dates to the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age. 2) Semi-circular scraper length 34mm, width 45mm, thickness 15mm. Two fragments of ham green ware pottery. One is a base fragment length 65mm width 45mm, thickness 18mm, this has a grey core with a buff orange exterior, slip on the outside with light green lead glaze covering. The second is a rim fragment length 34mm, width 24mm, thickness 10mm, this has a grey core with a light grey exterior and deep rutted diagonal linear decoration. Both fragments earthen ware and date to the 13th to 14th century.

An iconongraphic finger-ring in the medieval style. The bezel is formed of three vertical panels, the central one containing the rudimentary, half length depiction of an unidentifiable saint. The two side panels are decorated with an improvised foliate motif and the reverse of the hoop is fashioned to simulate cabling. The finger-ring is gold (?may be brass) but is of no great age and is likely to have been produced as an historicist piece in the late nineteenth or early twentieth centuries.

A cast copper alloy half angel coin weight of very late medieval or post-medieval date. The square uniface coin weight measures 14.3mm by 14.3mm by 1.7mm and weighs 2g. The front of the weight depicts St Michael spearing a dragon and the back is plain. The angel denomination was in production between 1464 and 1604 but as St Michael's right leg is bent and left leg is straight on this example, it probably dates from after 1493 (Withers and Withers 1995, p. 21).

A cast lead alloy button of probable seventeenth century date. The circular button has a diameter of 26.1mm, it is 6.2mm thick and weighs 13g. The front of the button is decorated with a moulded eight-spoked design. The stub of an integrally cast loop survives on the back.

An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shape brooch of early Roman date. The surviving part of the brooch measures 23.6mm in length and weighs 6.1g. One side of the cylindrical wings and part of the upper bow are missing. The wings would have held the axis bar for a hinged pin, which is also missing. The end of the surviving side of the wings is decorated with a single circumferential incised line. The forward projecting bow has a D-shaped cross-section. A probable cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The tear drop-shaped pendant measures 45.8mm by 16mm by 7.7mm and weighs 6.6g. At the apex is an integrally cast loop which is turned through ninety degrees. The front of the pendant is convex and the back is concave. There is no surviving trace of any decoration. Similar harness pendants on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database include SUSS-ED4B96 (from Firle, East Sussex) and DENO-845465 (from Long Whatton, Leics).

Cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount length 47mm, wide 36mm 10mm, weight 39.53g. It has openwork zoomorphic decoration consisting of two rearing animals with open mouths on either side, these flank two animal facemasks in the centre, which are situated one above the other. At the top is a single suspension hole, with a further two suspension holes at the base were there is a rearward facing flange. This is a Williams group B stirrup strap mount and dates to the 11th century.

The top of the brooch has been rolled back to form a narrow tube, this has a lot in the centre at the rear for the pin, only the top part of the pin remains.
