A gold finger ring with a D-shape cross-section hoop. The flat inside is engraved with the inscription reading “God for me apointed thee” followed by the makers mark arranged over two lines IG/S set within a recessed heart, then the second stamp G within a recessed circle. The outside of the ring is undecorated. A posy ring with the exact same inscription has been recorded at NMGW-6495BC and dated to the 1740’s, although caution should be noted that no reference was supplied for this date. A complete mount in the form of a lion's head dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800). The mount is circular in plan with moulded relief decoration in the form of a lion's head surrounded by its mane. The reverse is uneven with a channel running its length that would have contained an iron pin or stud for which only traces of ferrous metal remans. The object has a grey patina. Copper alloy 'male' tag from a pair matching hooked tags. The tag has a circular openwork plate that is formed ring that forms the outer edge. Projecting inwards are four evenly spaced arches that grip a central roundel that is decorated with a human head. On the forward edge is a large rectangular hook that forms the male element for the corresponding eyelet plate. Either side of the plate are two pierced attachment lugs with a third at the rear that has been shaped into a scallop shell.

An incomplete Post-medieval gilded copper-alloy pin comprising the head, collar and shaft, which terminates in an old break. The head is in the form of a fleur-de-lis with additional thin projections below the outer petals and is flat on one face and very slightly convex on the other. A small fragment of lead window came. The typical H shaped cross section has been crushed flat but is still visible at the ends. Parallel lines running down it suggest at was extruded. Late Medieval or Post Medieval copper alloy finger ring probably of the 15th to 17th centuries. The ring is broadly d-shaped in cross section with a slightly convex inner face and convex outer formed of a convex curved centre flanked by narrow raised lines above and below in turn flanked by a very narrow flat border top and bottom. The forward and rear of the frame as a serrated outed edge formed from two concave shallow projection flanking a central shallow triangular projection, behind these is a transverse grove A central silver spindle secures a chape and pin.
