Lead alloy ingot. A round ingot of plano-convex section which has set in a shallow hollow, probably in a fine sand bed. A sand bed would be the usual requirement for a scheme of professional lead working. The metal retains a grey tint pointing to a relatively recent date though its inflexibility suggests this to be a eutectic lead alloy rather than lead. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1900 Diameter: 50mm, Thickness: 7.9mm, Weight: 82.84gms

Copper alloy and iron possible scissors fragment. A small leaf-shaped iron blade fragment [tip lost] with a backing of thin copper alloy which appears to extend from the broken stub of a handle with an angled outer end and a low rib on one side; the loss of a counterpart is presumed. This might be from a pair of embroidery scissors, as most sets of shears for heavy duty tasks were made entirely of iron and are larger.
