A fragment of a post-medieval silver sixpence of Edward VI (1547-53), third period dating 1550-53 (North 1939), mint: York, initial mark: mullet. Ref: North 1991: 123.
The coin is worn and fragmented, with only around a quarter of the coin surviving . The breaks are straight but uneven suggested the coin has not been cut.
Length: 16.25 mm; Weight: 0.75g.
