A complete copper alloy Nuremberg Rose and Orb jetton Post Medieval date (c.AD 1586-1635). The jetton was manufactured by Hans Krauwinckle II and has an imperial orb with tressure of three arches on the obverse. The obverse legend reads ‘GOTTES GABEN SOL MAN LOB’. The reverse has alternating crowns and lis around a central rose and the legend reads ‘HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR’ Dimensions: Diameter 21.7mm, Thickness 0.8mm, Weight 1.66g

Reverse: Orb surmounted by cross patty within three lobed twin bordered elaborate tressure, nonsense legend. Similar to Mitchener 1436. Die axis 6 o'clock. The jetton is unusually thick and could be a Piedfort or multiple value. Circa AD1570-1613.
