A Medieval silver penny dating from the reigns of Edward I – Edward III (AD 1272-1377). The coin has seemingly been clipped, with the outer rim from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock missing. The coin is relatively worn.

A copper alloy Medieval buckle. The buckle has an ornate outside edge and likely is of Meols Type 6. It dates to c. AD 1250-1450.
The buckle has a narrow bar, and the pin is missing. The outside edge has five transverse grooves, with no apparent pin notch. The grooves are approximately equidistantly placed and only appear on the front of the buckle.
The external dimensions are 15.18mm long and 14.51mm wide. The internal dimensions are 12.47mm long and 7.67mm wide.

An almost complete Bronze Age side-looped spearhead. The leaf-shaped blade is 57.9mm in length, lozenge-shaped in cross-section, with a rounded central rib on both faces. The socket is hollow and flares outwards slightly towards the mouth. It is currently filled with soil. The mouth of the socket is bent inwards slightly to one side. The small, flattened, strip-shaped loops are situated about 11mm up the the socket and about 18mm below the blade. One of the loops has a slight break in its centre which appears to be due to errosion following deposition, rather than manufacture or wear. …

Medieval copper alloy buckle, probably of 13th or 14th century date
The buckle is incomplete (with a surviving length of 25.1mm and a weight of 2.7g) and may be of integral plate type or of two looped type with integral pate. The loop is oval (21.8mm wide) and of sub-triangular section. There is a single decorative moulding where the frame meets the plate. The pin is accommodated within a hole through the plate. The plate is of trapezoidal section (9.7mm wide and 2.4mm thick), with bevelled sides. The buckle plate has broken through a hole (5mm diameter) for attachment to the strap.…

The implement is made on yellow-brown cortical flint and is unpatinated. The flake is retouched along the distal end, with comparatively steep retouch, suggesting a scraper edge. The flake has also been notched on one side of the striking platform.

The scraper is damaged with a chunk lost from the side. The scraper is made on non cortical and unpatinated flint of pale grey / brown variable colour. The flake was hard-hammer struck and the retouch covers all the surviving curved edge, beyond the striking platform.
