Complete copper alloy (brass) trade weight, probably dating to the reign of King George IV of England (AD 1820-1830).  The weight is circular with a flat base with central shallow concavitie and incised ring. The sides slope gently outwards and are flat and undecorated. The top features a raised circumferential rim with incised circular detail, central circle with interior concavitie and stamped motifs, including a stamped crown with the letters GR and Roman numeral 4 'IIII'. Complete lead weight or gaming piece of probable post-medieval date. Cylindrical in shape, both flat terminals feature off-centre stamped sunburst designs and the sides have thin, narrow, regularly incised lines. The regularity and crispness of the design suggests it was created using a machine-made mould and stamps. This artefact weighs 9.68g, which roughly equates to a 1/3 of an ounce. It has a cream/white patina With some chipping and surface abrasion. Measurements - height: 10.79mm; diameter: 10.39mm; weight: 9.68g.

A worked stone of the Roman period, dating from the 2nd-3rd centuries. The stone depicts a probably female head in the Romano-British style, with a head on a neck in relief on a rectangular base. There is no background panel behind the head, with the upper figural portion being sub-triangular in shape with a flat(ish) front face and a gently sloping reverse. A probable dupondius or as of early Roman date, c. 43-200. The coin is very worn with an evenly pitted surface. The hint of a bust in profile to the right suggests Roman coin, though it is feasible that the coin is of a Georgian issue.

A cast copper-alloy object of uncertain function of the early Post-Medieval period. The object has a shaft with two different but incomplete terminals/ends. The shaft is oval in section. One terminal is sub-rectangular in plan, but concave in profile with a break at the far end. The opposite terminal is sub-triangular in plan and convex in profile. There is a fracture in the terminal where the tip has bent inward more sharply. The quality of the metalwork suggests a Post-Medieval date, but it is cast from a handmade mould.

A worked stone tool of prehistoric date. The object is roughly rectangular in shape with two adjacent edges bevelled to form a rounded blade. The other two edges are broken, showing that it was originally part of a larger object. This may have been an axe or scraper. Both of the largest surfaces have been worked into a concave shape, one a lot more crudely than the other. This shaping is suggestive of some kind of grip for holding the tool.

An incomplete clay pipe, probably dating to the late eighteenth or nineteenth centuries. The bowl is oval and measures 23mm in diameter and 45mm in height. It is decorated with a moulded, hatched heart and the stamped initials 'WW' within an oval border. The stem is broken. There are also stamped letters on the stem but these are illegible. The hatched heart decoration is found on pipes manufactured in Berwick upon Tweed.

A fragment of the bowl and stem of a claypipe, dating probably to the late eighteenth or ninenteenth centuries. The pipe has an oval bowl measuring 22mm in diameter and 37mm in height. There is moulded decoration on the bowl - perhaps a man carrying someone on his back. However, the moulding is not well defined. The stem is broken and measures 8mm in diameter.
