An incomplete cast copper alloy and enamel hinged Trumpet derivative brooch of Roman date (c. 75-200 AD). The brooch is most likely of Mackreth Type TR 4.1a (2011: pg.126, plate 86). The brooch is incomplete, missing the foot and much of the catchplate. The head of the brooch has sub-rectangular, irregular oval sectioned wings. Description The object is a decorative gold ring with a deep oval bezel (height 5.7mm), once set with a small uncut (cabochon) stone, perhaps a sapphire. There is a small transverse ridge on each side of the bezel at the junction with the hoop, and the lower half of the bezel is chamfered to give a truncated biconical profile. Post medieval lead cloth seal The cloth seal is of two-disc type with circular discs (of 22mm diameter, 5.4mm thick and weighing 7.3g). One disc has no surviving device or legend. The other has a central device of a crowned portcullis. A small part of the encircling legend survives: ] W .TRE.[ Seals with a crowned portcullis dates from the reign of Elizabeth I and are often county seals and are sometimes counterfeited to avoid taxes.

A cast lead weight of uncertain date, but likely Medieval to Post Medieval (c. AD 1400-1700). The weight is square and measures 32.5mm x 31.7mm and 11.7m max thickness. One face has been incised with a crude linear design in the shape of the letter W. Similar objects on the PAS database are recorded as apothecary weights, e.g. SUR-D85EA7 and SUSS-3FB2B7, which are also designed with the letter W. The weight weighs 87.44g, which is close to the ¼ lb Tower system (87.5g) or English troy system (93.3g).

A cast copper alloy Postmedieval trade weight of 17th century date (AD 1625-1685). The weight is circular in plan with a diameter of 25.1mm and thickness of 4.4mm. The face of the weight has three stamps: 1. a crowned letter C for Charles I or II; 2. a sword for the Sword of St. Paul for the city of London Guildhall, and 3; a ewer for the London Founder’s Company (Worshipful Company of Founders). An incomplete probable copper alloy stylus of Roman or Medieval Date. The stylus is 86.5mm long and is bent, so the original would have been of greater length. The thickest part is c. 3mm square in section, with the top 31.5mm of the object expanding and flattening towards the broken upper end, which is 6.1mm wide and 1.3mm thick. The underside of the stud is flat, with a single central tapering shank that ends in a break. The top of the stud is stamp decorated with a central octofoil floral motif surrounded by four ring and dot motifs that alternate with four subdivided sub-rectangular bars.
