A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

A fragment of a Small Long Brooch of Early Medieval date (AD 500-600). The object is composed of a small square plate, with notches removed from the lower corners. The plate is decorated on the upper face with punched ring a dot motifs, in two rows of three, across the upper and lower portions of the plate. An incomplete medieval copper alloy single loop buckle, dating from c. AD 1250-1400. The buckle frame is D shaped, and D shaped in cross section. On the outer frame a single collared knop projects from the centre. The pin bar is recessed. The pin bar is oval in cross section. It has a dark green patina, and measures 23.6mm in length, 15.1mm in width, and 2.91g in weight. A similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead 1996, page 21 number 85.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating from c. 1st to 2nd Century AD. At the head of the brooch there are two circular wings, in the centre of this is a semi circular notch where the pin would have attached. The mount is of composite design, with a convex plate shaped in the form of an escallop or shell, and a tri-lobed shape (trefoil or fleur-de-lys) projecting from the top edge of the shell. The fragment is flat and decorated on one side with a pair of bosses of three concentric annulets, a pair of transverse ridges, one of which has cable style decoration and then another panel with three or more parallel bands of small dot-in-annulets.
