Postmedieval token: copper alloy jetton, anonymous rose and orb type, normal orb, crown initial mark. Overcleaned. A hammered copper alloy jetton of Nuremberg's 'rose and orb' type. Only part of the obverse depicting the rose and orb is clearly visible. A few letters of the inscription survive, but these are insufficient for full identification. No detail survives on the reverse, other than a central rose, a single crown, and an illegible section of the inscription. The general condition of the jetton is poor and it has been overcleaned. A heavily worn and corroded copper-alloy jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II of Nuremburg. This piece is an example of the common Rose/Orb series of the late 16th to early 17th century. It measures 19.4mm in diameter, 0.1mm thick and weighs 0.49g.

A post-medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (active 1586-1635). Rose/orb type inscribed GOTT ALLEIN DIE EERESEI, dating to 1586-1635 (see Mitchiner no. 1529). Minted at Nuremberg. Mitchiner (1988, 440). The jetton measures 21.44 mm in diameter, and weighs 1.48 g. There is a shallow, curved cut out at one point of the circumference resulting from the production of the flan.

A worn copper alloy jeton, 27mm in diameter. This is probably a sun moon and stars jeton, a design reoccurs from the early 1700s through to the 19th century. Obv: Traces of a rayed sun opposite an equally rayed and crescent moon, on a ground of small stars. A boardered inscription reads ’NON SOLVM’. Rev: This is difficult to see but appears to be a fist, extending from a cloud with rays. The inscription, where visible reads ‘FAMAM EXTEND R…..’
