A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

A post-Medieval stoneware Bellarmine jug (also known as a Beardman/Bartmaan jug). The body of the vessel is sub-globular, with a flat base and conical neck (damaged). A pottery strap handle from a medieval jug. The handle adjoins part of the vertical neck of the vessel, a short distance down from the beaded rim. Two vertical ridges decorate upper surface of the handle. Each of the two outer panels created by these ridges is decorated by a column of sub-oval stab marks, whereas the central panel has a column of diagonal impressions, probably made by the tip of a knife. A neck of a Roman Nene Valley ware flagon. The fabric is white in colour with a reddish brown slip. The rim flange of the narrow mouth is cylindrical and the neck below is further constricted before flaring outwards again. Throwing lines are visible on the outer surface of the mouth.

An early clay pipe bowl with 10mm of stem surviving. The bowl is 9.27mm in diameter internally and 18.55mm externally. It is at a 45 degree angle to the stem and barrel-shaped, with a plain rim. There is a circular or oval heel.

95 sherds of medieval pottery weighing 2kg in total. The fabric is pale orange shading to grey in colour and with abundant shelly inclusions. The majority of the forms represented are jars but some jug necks and handles are also present. The material was probably produced in the nearby kilns at Olney Hyde. The medieval pottery dates to the 13th or 14th century. Six more sherds of post-medieval lead-glazed earthenware and marbled slipware are also part of this assemblage.

An assemblage of 12 fragments of tile. The tile is orange to red in colour. Two of the tiles have sub-rectangular perforations in them, presumably where they were attached to a roof. The tiles range from 13 mm to 10 mm in thickness. It is quite probable that they are medieval in date.
