A silver Sceat of Series L (secondary) type 12, dating to AD 650-725. Obverse: diademed, draped bust right with small cross pommee before and blundered legend LVNDOON+. Reverse: standing figure wearing long robe in crescent boat holding long cross (with pellets on shaft) to either side. Diameter: 11.93mm, Thickness: 1.60mm, Weight: 0.9g North Vol I, P 62, No 63 and 65 (obverse) Abramson P 64, No L050 95-96

Base silver radiate of Valerian I (AD 253-60), ORIENS AVGG, Sol advancing left raising hand and holding whip. Mint of Gaul. Cunetio p. 105, no. 708. The coin looks quite base, but as it was struck from base silver the copper content has patinated.

Late Roman coin: A copper alloy nummus of Magnentius (AD 350-353), Horseman spearing barbarian/ GLORIA ROMANORUM. The mintmark shows that the coin was struck in Trier, Germany. Very similar to RIC VIII, p 120 no 350 (but this was minted at Amiens).
