A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

A fragment of a copper alloy Iron Age brooch, dating to the 1st Century BC to the 1st Century AD. The fragment consists of the head of the brooch, one of the loops of the spring is still attached on the reverse, this ends in a worn break. On the front of the brooch is the remains of incised decoration, this is sub triangular in shape. The bow ends in a worn break. There is no decoration on the reverse. The brooch is very worn, and has a mid green patina. It measures 18mm in length, 9.2mm in width, and weighs 0.9g. Similar brooches can be seen in Hattatt 2012, page 290.

A corroded copper alloy object, possibly a bladed prehistoric or Roman era implement such as a razor or perhaps an incomplete brooch of late Iron Age date. The object is 35.4mm in length with a triangular plate, with flat triangular cross section and a hooked projection on the wide end, probably the remains of a corroded suspension loop. There are no other fittings. The surface appears to have faint ring and dot decoration in two uneven rows along both sides.

A fragment of a Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age, cast copper-alloy razor dating to c.800BC-600BC. The razor has a trapezoidal shaped blade in plan and appears to consist of the lower portion of a razor. On the front face, it is decorate with two grooves separated by two moulded ridges, the lower ridge is narrower than the upper one. The reverse is undecorated. Five sherds of handmade pottery vessels, probably dating from the Iron Age. The largest sherd, which is part of a storage jar or cooking pot, is sub-rectangular in plan, has vertical sides and a beaded rim. The fabric of this sherd is dark grey, slightly vesiculated and has finger impressions on the outer surface. The four other sherds are smaller, more highly abraded and are made from mid-grey fabrics with frequent small inclusions. nb.Dimensions quoted below are for the largest sherd in the group.

A slightly abraded body sherd from an Iron Age upright vessel. The sub-rectangular sherd has a dark grey core with small stone inclusions; the surfaces are light pinkish-brown, there is sooting on the inner face and lines of impressed cord decoration on the outer face. The fineness of the vessel, and rilling on the inside, suggest this pot may have been thrown or finished on a wheel.

The bow of a cast copper alloy Alesia type brooch. Mackreth Alesia Group 1:c2. Rolled-under head is incomplete and wuld have held an iron axis bar. There is a globular foot knop, and a long triangular ctachplate at teh reverse. There is no decoration visible. The sub-triangular-sectioned bow is very close to Mackreth 2011, 131, pl. 89 no. 8553.

An incomplete copper-alloy Rosette/Thistle brooch of Late Iron Age to Romano-British date. The brooch has a date range of c.25-60 AD. The brooch seems to have been formed of one piece. The wings of the brooch have an incomplete length of 20.55mm and are formed of metal 1.18mm thick. The upper and lower edge of the wings curved over to form a cylinder that would originally have contained the spring. A complete cast copper-alloy late Iron Age or Roman copper-alloy button and fastener. These fasteners are believed to have been used to hold together two pieces of fabric, or leather. The loop/shank was sown to the fabric base and the head was probably inserted through a slit or loop in another section of fabric. This example has a flat 'D' shaped head which is decorated with a large ring and dot set at the top of a concave sided triangle. The resulting shapes could be interpreted as two leaves.
