A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

Description: A complete silver-gilt fede finger ring dating to the Late Medieval period (AD 1400-1550). The ring is sub-circular in plan and sub-D-shape in cross-section. The bezel is moulded, comprising two clasped hands around a central crowned heart. A transverse ridge representing a cuff separates the bezel from hoop, which is decorated with cast globular ribbing. A complete Roman to Post Medieval cast lead-alloy spindle whorl, of Walton Rogers type A1. The spindle whorl is broadly hemispherical (or biconical) with rounded sides and a flat underside. A circular perforation extends trough the centre from top to base. None of the surfaces are decorated. The patina is an even yellowish-grey colour. The spindle whorl is 16mm height, approximately 25mm external diameter, 10mm internal diameter and weighs 61.21 grams. See Walton Rogers 1997, p. 1738, fig. 806, no. 6541 for similar.

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double loop oval buckle dating c. AD 1350-1650. The buckle frame is broadly D-shape in cross section with bevelled inside edges and equally spaced moulded angled grooves on each outer edge. The pin bar is rectangular in cross-section. Attached to this is a pointed pin with integral loop made from a single sheet of copper-alloy. The underside of the frame is flat and undecorated. The surfaces have even mid-green patination. The buckle measures 40.6mm in length, 39mm in width and weighs 11.50 grams.

A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy double loop buckle dating from AD 1350-1400. The loops are oval in shape with an expanded straight outer edge on each loop. The inside of the frame is bevelled. The reverse is flat. The pin is attached to the circular-sectioned pin bar by an integral loop. This extends into a rectangular sectioned plate that tapers to a point. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval to Post Medieval double loop annular buckle dating c. AD 1350-1650. The frame is sub-D-shape in cross-section with bevelled sides and a flat underside. The pin bar is narrowed and broken. Attached to it is a pointed pin made from a D-sectioned plate. The entire object is worn and corroded, with mid green and light brown patination. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Post Medieval crotal bell dating from the 16th to 17th century. The bell comprises a hollow sphere of two hemispheres divided by a raised circumferential band. The upper hemisphere has three circular sound holes; one small and two larger (approximately 4.5mmdiameter), one of which has been damaged creating a larger irregular perforation. A complete cast lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers B1 dating from the Early Medieval to Medieval period, c. AD 650-1200. The whorl is discoidal, or flat-circular, in form with flat surfaces and slightly rounded sides. A circular hole perforates the centre. Patination across the object is patchy and light and mid brown in colour. The large perforation suggests that the spindle whorl is Early Medieval to Medieval in date. The spindle whorl measures 34mm diameter and 9.4mm thick. The central perforation is c. 11mm diameter. The entire object weighs 66.47 grams.
