A fragment of glass, probably Roman, vessel, possibly a bottle AD.40-450. The obbject comprises a domed piece of glass, with visible concentric lines from spinning around tools. The glass is blue and contains numerous bubbles, it is of uneven thickness, thickening at the dome's apex, perhaps suggesting it is part of the base of a vessel.

A fragment of a copper alloy vessel or possibly a ferrule, probably of Roman date, AD 43 - 410. The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape, with raised edges, and a raised collar running across the fragment. It is slightly curved in cross section. The fragment has a dark green patina, it measures 19.8mm in length, 17.3mm in width, 2.6mm in thickness and weighs 4.48g.

A fragment of a copper alloy vessel, possibly Roman in date, dating from AD 43 - 410. The fragment is sub rectangular in shape, and T shaped in cross section. It is possibly part of the foot ring of a copper alloy dish. It has a mid green patina, with orange brown staining in patches on the inside. It measures 18.2mm in length, 18.8mm in width, 3.9mm in maximum thickness and weighs 5.01g.

Two sherds of Roman samian ware vessel, dating from the 2nd Century AD. 1- A rim sherd. The sherd in an irregular pentagon shape, and has a slight curve in profile. The fragment is hard, with a pink orange core, the exterior is a glossy red colour created with the slip coating. The exterior is decorated with moulded relief which starts near the worn break of the fragment. The base of a Roman samian ware vessel, dating from the 2nd Century AD. The foot base is circular and concave in shape, and sub rectangular in shape where it would have extended out into the bowl. The centre of the bowl is raised and rounded from manufacturing. The fragment is hard, with a pink core, this has dark brown patches. Report by R Hobbs: Around 15 fragments of a squat coarseware storage jar with green copper alloy staining on the inner surface where the pot has been in direct contact with the coins. The fabric (pink grog tempered ware) is dull pink with a heavy grey core and ill sorted inclusions of grog and mica (Tomber and Dore 1998, 210).

R Hobbs reports: There are also a large number of fragments of other similar coarseware vessels in a range of fabrics, as well as tile, brick and fragments of mortaria. Only the pieces stained with copper can be directly associated with the coin hoard and considered as treasure.

Three adjoining body sherds from a pottery plate or dish, probably dating from the Roman period. The flat upper surface of the vessel is decorated by combed wavy lines, and there is a group of stab marks towards the centre. In addition, there are three concentric grooves near to the edge of the vessel. The fabric is a light pinkish-orange with no visible inclusions. The edges of the sherds are slightly abraded.
