A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

A fragment of a medieval -Post medieval cast copper alloy vessel leg dating to c. AD 1300-1700. The leg is shaped like a boot, with a rounded toe. It leans back slightly, and has a flat back or inside leg. There is a groove running around where the foot meets the leg. The foot is slightly wider than the leg. The leg is triangular in cross section, with rounded corners. The leg ends at the top in a worn break. It has a mid green patina, and measures 43.8mm in height, 23.1mm in maximum width, 13.6mm in maximum thickness, and weighs 49g.

A fragment of glass, probably Roman, vessel, possibly a bottle AD.40-450. The obbject comprises a domed piece of glass, with visible concentric lines from spinning around tools. The glass is blue and contains numerous bubbles, it is of uneven thickness, thickening at the dome's apex, perhaps suggesting it is part of the base of a vessel.

A hollow foot from a Roman vessel. A similar example was found in excavations at Colchester (Crummy 1983: 73, no. 2051 fig. 76), where it was suggested to be possibly a foot from a bowl. See also BH-1911F3 and NLM-A2CB67.The foot is pelta-shaped with a central incomplete groove.

A cast copper alloy fragment of a chafing dish dating to the later Medieval period. The object consists of an integral support which projects upwards and a small fragment of the rim. The dish support is sub-rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross-section. On the lower face of the rim fragment is a circumferential groove. File marks are visible on each face of the object. Lewis (1973, p63-4) describes the type of vessel which he calls type B: "These vessels are cast in one piece and finished on the lathe. A pottery strap handle from a medieval jug. The handle adjoins part of the vertical neck of the vessel, a short distance down from the beaded rim. Two vertical ridges decorate upper surface of the handle. Each of the two outer panels created by these ridges is decorated by a column of sub-oval stab marks, whereas the central panel has a column of diagonal impressions, probably made by the tip of a knife. Three adjoining body sherds from a pottery plate or dish, probably dating from the Roman period. The flat upper surface of the vessel is decorated by combed wavy lines, and there is a group of stab marks towards the centre. In addition, there are three concentric grooves near to the edge of the vessel. The fabric is a light pinkish-orange with no visible inclusions. The edges of the sherds are slightly abraded.

A slightly abraded body sherd from an Iron Age upright vessel. The sub-rectangular sherd has a dark grey core with small stone inclusions; the surfaces are light pinkish-brown, there is sooting on the inner face and lines of impressed cord decoration on the outer face. The fineness of the vessel, and rilling on the inside, suggest this pot may have been thrown or finished on a wheel.

The fabric of this sherd is dark grey, slightly vesiculated and has finger impressions on the outer surface. The fragment is hard, with a pink orange core, the exterior is a glossy red colour created with the slip coating. A fragment of a medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy vessel. The piece, which represents foot of a cauldron or similar vessel, has a triangular cross section and splays towards the base , which is concave.The break at the top is irregular.Traces of a black sustance adhere to the corroded surfaces. Dimensions: height: 28.4mm; maximum width: 46.2mm. Weight: 101.36g. Butler, Green and Payne suggest that this form of foot was common on medieval vessels, although examples are known from as late as the 17th century (2009: 4).
