An orange surfaced sherd with a grey core in a well finished, grog tempered fabric, from a small bowl or cup. The decoration consists of a broad cordon with a single moulding above it and two below. Estimated rim diameter 8 mm.

Nine sherds of grog tempered, brown surfaced pottery with a dark grey core. The sherds are all from a simple carinated cup with one cordon constricting the waist and a beaded foot. Thickness 7mm. Estimated rim diameter 10.5 mm. Pot height 13.5 mm.

An abraded sherd of Roman samian pottery, probably a 2nd century AD Gaulish Dragendorff type 37 bowl.
The main feature of this body sherd is the moulded decoration around the outside. The scene depicts a bull butting left; the forelegs of a second quadruped can be seen immediately above and the hind legs of a third animal (or possibly human arms?) lie to the left of the bull. In addition to the zoomorphic decoration, there is moulded grass along the bottom of the panel and, to the right of the bull, vine-like scroll. A rim and partial body sherd from a wheel thrown Roman vessel. The sherd is a fragment from an item of kitchenware, a reasonably large storage jar. The sherd is of a local type of greyware, possibly "salt and pepper fabric" from the Ecton kilns. The sherd has a rough dark grey exterior with frequent small black sandy inclusions. The exterior is also decorated with a subtle ridge and grooved effect shortly below the waist of the neck.
The interior is of a slightly paler grey, and the core of the sherd is of a similar colour, indicating that the vessel was well fired. The diameter…

A partially reconstructed thin walled globular jar. The fabric is a pale orange fine sandy clay with occasional white flecks. The rim flares out slightly and the rounded body ends in a straight-sided base.
