A fragment of a copper alloy, Probably Roman, figurine in the form of a hoof, AD.43-410. The object is in the form of the lower leg of a hoofed animal, possibly a goat or ram. The base of the hoof has two grooves in a V shape giving it a cloven appearance rather than the U shape of a horse. The object has an even green patina. Length: 18.48mm Width: 7.28mm Thickness: 4.26mm Weight: 3.31g

An incomplete, hollow, cast copper-alloy head of a feline, probably a lion or possibly a leopard. The incomplete figurine head weighs 45.68g and is 39.44mm high. The head has a length of 30.58mm from the tip of the nose to the back of the head and a width of 22.40mm from ear to ear. The neck of the large cat has an oval diameter of 22.67mm (front to back) x 18.46mm (side to side). At he base of neck is a incised groove seems to demark the edge of the figurative model. A lead-alloy Madonna-and-child figurine of probable post-medieval to modern date. The three-dimensional cast piece has well moulded surface detail and is only slightly corroded. Mary is depicted standing, facing forward and wearing a long, loose robe. Jesus is held by her left arm so that their faces touch; her right arm is extended, her hand resting near her waist. The figurine stands upon an integrally cast rectangular base. The object measures 26.7mm high, 9.8mm wide and 6.8mm thick. The weight is 8.86g.

A worn and corroded solid copper alloy figurine, possibly representing Diana. She has one arm raised and the other resting on her hip. The hands are not clearly modelled. There are no visible facial features, although the hair is discernable at the back in the form of a bun. The figure is wearing a garment gathered and 'bloused out' over a belt. The figure is broken off at the hem of the garment. The base garment has the scars where the two legs have sheered off, probably the weakest point of the figure

A small copper-alloy statuette probably representing Mercury, the figure stands on a small integrally cast flat base and is wearing boots which reach to mid-calf, the tops of which are v-shaped front and back, although very worn at the back. The figures left leg is slightly bent at the knee. The right arm below the shoulder is missing, the break appears old, but it is not clear if it is a post-depositional break. The left arm is swathed in the folds of a cloak which is draped over the left and falls in 5 moulded folds; the left hand is missing and the stump protrudes from the cloak. …
