A possible medieval to post medieval copper alloy pommel from a dagger, possibly dating from c. AD 1400-1700. The pommel is circular in shape, with both sides concave. The rim of both sides is worn and broken. In the centre an iron piece goes through the body of the pommel, this is roughly circular in cross section, but has iron corrosion that has spread outwards. The copper alloy part is a light green colour with black staining, and the iron is a orange brown colour. It measures 43.5mm in length, 39.5mm in width, 26.8mm in thickness and weighs 81g.
