A large and bent openwork Georgian shoe buckle with a frame comprising a pair of interlinked loops with a line of moulded pellets running along each. There is a central circular loop which is drilled for a spindle on both sides; within and around this is a second elliptical loop which interleaves with the inner loop and is joined to it with horizontal bars on each edge. There are traces of an iron spindle and pin, now lost.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Medieval buckle, comprising the decorative front edge of the frame. The frame appears to be oval and for the most part is narrow and bevelled. There is a decorative rectangular protruding terminal with a moulded grooves on each side, a lowered flange on the exterior edge, a single incised groove for a pin rest cutting across it and incised cross hatching across the surface. Circa 13th - 14th century.

A copper alloy Medieval buckle plate, 22.6mm in length. The front has incised / chased decoration in the form of rows of closely spaced crescentic lines in the form of a foliate or feathered design of uncertain form. The plate has a border of parallel rows of this chased decoration and an outer margin of oblique incised notches. The front of the plate has a circular pin notch, with folded loops for the strap bar of the missing buckle. The rear edge has a break across a pair of small rivet holes.
