A fragment of a Small Long Brooch of Early Medieval date (AD 500-600). The object is composed of a small square plate, with notches removed from the lower corners. The plate is decorated on the upper face with punched ring a dot motifs, in two rows of three, across the upper and lower portions of the plate. At the head of the brooch there are two circular wings, in the centre of this is a semi circular notch where the pin would have attached. An fragment of a Roman copper alloy disc brooch, dating from the 2nd century AD. The fragment is circular, and slightly domed on the face. There is a raised central ring, with a possible second raised ring round the worn and broken edge. Contained between the two rings are traces of ultramarine blue enamel. An incomplete copper alloy medieval annular brooch, dating from c. AD 1350- 1400. The brooch is a flat circular hoop, with eight globular projections regularly spaced on the face of the brooch. The frame narrows between two of the projections, where the pin would have sat. This is now missing. On the opposite edge of the narrow section is a circular recess. The reverse is undecorated, and there are patches of white metal coating. The brooch has a light green patina, and measures 40.1mm by 39.5mm, 5.9mm in maximum thickness, and weighs 13.38g.

A fragment of a copper alloy Iron Age brooch, dating to the 1st Century BC to the 1st Century AD. The fragment consists of the head of the brooch, one of the loops of the spring is still attached on the reverse, this ends in a worn break. On the front of the brooch is the remains of incised decoration, this is sub triangular in shape. The bow ends in a worn break. There is no decoration on the reverse. The brooch is very worn, and has a mid green patina. It measures 18mm in length, 9.2mm in width, and weighs 0.9g. Similar brooches can be seen in Hattatt 2012, page 290.

A bent and incomplete Roman or early medieval copper alloy penannular brooch. The frame has a sub rounded cross section, 36mm in diameter which has been bent straight, opening the ring. One terminal is lost, the other remains and folds back on itself at right angles to the plane of the ring, forming what may be interpreted as zoomorphic horse heads, with stylised moulded features. The terminal is 6.1mm thick and 11.2mm long. The pin has been lost.

An incomplete Roman plate brooch (Mackreth (2011), Chapter 7, Part 2 PL CONT 17a.) comprised of two (or more) flat discs. one complete and one largely lost, which are joined at a point on their periphery. Each disc has raised borders with tinned surfaces surrounding a recessed central field, which on the surviving disc appears to have held enamel around a hole in the centre for a separate component, now lost. The reverse of the complete disc retains a small catchplate. The alloy has a high tin content.

A copper-alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow type missing its pin. The head has two pierced lugs and small flat wings covering a coiled spring and an iron axis bar which runs through the lower pierced lug. The upper lug holds the spring chord. The spring is held asymmetrically on the head, with two coils on the left side and three coils with the pin on the other of the central lug. The bow is curved and narrow, with triangular cross section, ending in a point foot and an incomplete catch plate. Circa 50-70 AD.
