A copper alloy Post Medieval object, probably part of a horse harness or snaffle bit. The object consists of a circular loop attachment end, which is sub cicular in cross section and bevelled on the inside. This is attached to a stem which terminates in a rounded and slightly pointed end. The stem is circular in cross section. The stem is decorated with moulded decoration, this consists of a series of raised collars with incised diagonal lines running across them. There are five raised collars.
