Two silver armlets and ring in Dept. of Prehistoric and Romano-British Antiquities, BM (A.W. Franks Bequest, 1850). The armlets were penannular snake bracelets, 2 5/8 in. in diam., each made of a strip of silver, 3/8 in. wide. They were ornamented with patterns of punched dots and incised lines. The snake armlets each bore an inscription incised on the underside near the terminal. One inscription, complete, read VIIRNICO, the other was incomplete. H.E.M.
