An incomplete silver penny of Henry VII (AD 1485-1509) "Sovereign" type. Long cross under squared shield reverse, mitre above, flanked by initials D/R. Mint of Durham under Archbishop Richard Fox. AD 1494 - 1501. Diameter: 15.91mm, Thickness: 0.59mm, Weight: 0.6g The coin is missing portions of its outer flan North Vol II, P 103, No 1731.
