A cast yellow metal finial consisting of a cherub like face with a high forehead and hollow eyes. The nose is damaged and the head is broken off at the chin. The head is framed by a leafy surround. There are no rivet holes and the reverse is roughly finished. It is uncertain what this finial has broken off but it may have been part of a decorative fireplace ornament.
