A complete Roman to Post Medieval cast lead-alloy spindle whorl, of Walton Rogers type A1. The spindle whorl is broadly hemispherical (or biconical) with rounded sides and a flat underside. A circular perforation extends trough the centre from top to base. None of the surfaces are decorated. The patina is an even yellowish-grey colour. The spindle whorl is 16mm height, approximately 25mm external diameter, 10mm internal diameter and weighs 61.21 grams. See Walton Rogers 1997, p. 1738, fig. 806, no. 6541 for similar.

The object is flat and circular in plan, there is an abraded area at the apex of the inscription, which suggests there would have been an integral suspension loop projecting from this point. A possible post medieval to modern lead alloy token or patten dating from 1600-1900. The token is very worn and is now rectangular shaped with very worn sides. In the centre is a circular perforation. The obverse has a figure on a horse right, with the front legs raised. Round the edge are the letters 'CIVS'. The other side has four shields round the central perforation. The token is similar to coins of James I in design. It isd a grey colour with brown staining, and measures 27.1mm in length, 21.9mm in width, 2.4mm in thickness and weighs 5.59g.

An incomplete cast lead alloy pilgrim badge dating from the Medieval period AD 1471- 1540. The front of the badge depicts Henry VI dressed in robes and standing. The bottom of the robes or platform he is standing on is a pattern of three alternating lines at oblique angles below a horizontal line. Above this line is the letter R. An incomplete lead post medieval cloth seal, dating from c. AD 1500-1700. The seal consists of two discs that have been pressed together, On one side the seal is decorated with either a raised 'IX' or 'XI', with a circular rope border around. The other disc is worn with a broken edge, In the centre the disc is decorated with a crowned portcullis. There are small parts of the circular beaded border still visible. The seal is a cream colour with patches of grey and white. It measures 18.2mm in length, 17.5mm in width, 3.3mm in thickness, and weighs 4.81g.

The handle consists of the rounded thumb mechanism for lifting the lid, which is attached to the hinge by a narrow neck. This would have attached to the tankard, and has a worn and broken point where it has detached. The hinge is rectangular in shape, and has a rounded attachment, the handle attachment fits round this. An incomplete medieval lead seal matrix dating from 1400-1500. The badge is discoid in shape, with an eight petalled flower in relief in the centre. Inbetween each petal is a inverted pellet. Surrounding the flower is a circular border containing the inscription that probably reads S'WILLELM PAGE. One edge of the badge has been folded back, damaging the inscription. On the reverse part of the pin attachment remains in the centre along one edge, it is semi circular in shape, and is worn and broken. The badge measures 26.4mm in diameter, 5.5mm in thickness, and weighs 9.81g.
