A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.

A complete Roman to Post Medieval cast lead-alloy spindle whorl, of Walton Rogers type A1. The spindle whorl is broadly hemispherical (or biconical) with rounded sides and a flat underside. A circular perforation extends trough the centre from top to base. None of the surfaces are decorated. The patina is an even yellowish-grey colour. The spindle whorl is 16mm height, approximately 25mm external diameter, 10mm internal diameter and weighs 61.21 grams. See Walton Rogers 1997, p. 1738, fig. 806, no. 6541 for similar.

The buckle frame is broadly D-shape in cross section with bevelled inside edges and equally spaced moulded angled grooves on each outer edge. The pin bar is rectangular in cross-section. Attached to this is a pointed pin with integral loop made from a single sheet of copper-alloy. The underside of the frame is flat and undecorated. The surfaces have even mid-green patination. The buckle measures 40.6mm in length, 39mm in width and weighs 11.50 grams.

A complete cast lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers B1 dating from the Early Medieval to Medieval period, c. AD 650-1200. The whorl is discoidal, or flat-circular, in form with flat surfaces and slightly rounded sides. A circular hole perforates the centre. Patination across the object is patchy and light and mid brown in colour. The large perforation suggests that the spindle whorl is Early Medieval to Medieval in date. The spindle whorl measures 34mm diameter and 9.4mm thick. The central perforation is c. 11mm diameter. The entire object weighs 66.47 grams.

The buckle is circular in shape and in cross section, with a pin attached around the frame that moves around freely. The pin attaches by an oval attachment loop that is rectangular in cross section. From a crescentric collar, the roughly rectangular sub-oval pin tapers gradually to a rounded tip. The buckle frame measures 40.7mm external diameter and 3.8mm thick. The pin is 45.2mm long and 2.3mm thick. The entire object weighs 16.97 grams.

The piece, which represents foot of a cauldron or similar vessel, has a triangular cross section and splays towards the base , which is concave.The break at the top is irregular.Traces of a black sustance adhere to the corroded surfaces. Dimensions: height: 28.4mm; maximum width: 46.2mm. Weight: 101.36g. Butler, Green and Payne suggest that this form of foot was common on medieval vessels, although examples are known from as late as the 17th century (2009: 4).

A flint blade of probable Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic date. The piece is roughly leaf-shaped and made from a translucent light yellowish-brown flint. At the proximal end there is part of what appears to be a recortified platform, adjacent to which, on the ventral surface, there is the bulb-of-percussion and bulb scar, with rippling below. The dorsal surface exhibits several longitudinal arrises. The edges of the blade have a serrated appearance which suggests utilisation damage. The bezel consists of a vertically aligned oval cell containing a damaged piece of silver foil (probably backing for a now-missing gemstone) over a white paste. The square upper surface is defined by a raised perimeter border, with an inward-pointing triangle at the centre of each side. The artefact is heavily corroded and one of the bottom corners has been lost. Dimensions: 14mm long, 12.3mm wide, 6.1mm high. Weight: 3.75g. Both sides angle upwards from the central axis bar, which has a protruding knop at each end. The upper surfaces of the frame slope downwards and outwards; the underside is flat. The pin rest comprises four sub-rectangular mouldings, separated by transverse ridges and grooves, with a deeper slit at the centre. Only portions of the bowed top and bottom sides remain. These are much narrower than the pin rest and are of flattened-oval section. The piece measures 28mm wide, 13mm long, 4.1mm thick (pin rest) and weighs 2.27g.

A copper-alloy button of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The upper surface of the flattened hemispherical head is decorated with a pattern of cross-hatched grooves, which creates a series of small squares. The integrally cast loop extends from the centre of the head's flat underside. It has convex sides and a small circular aperture. The button measures 14.5mm long, 13mm wide and weighs 3.31g.

A copper-alloy strap fitting, probably from a book or casket. No parallel could be found for this piece, but the patina and general form suggest a Medieval date. The artefact is rectangular in plan and has been made by folding widthways a cast piece. The central portion of the upper fold is of trapezoidal section and is solid. A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The frame is symmetrical, having two 'D-shaped' sides which angle upwards from a central axis bar. The upper surfaces slope downwards and outwards, there is a moulding at the points where the axis bar meets the frame and, at the centre of one of the outer sides, there is a transverse groove pin rest.
