A copper-alloy button of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The upper surface of the flattened hemispherical head is decorated with a pattern of cross-hatched grooves, which creates a series of small squares. The integrally cast loop extends from the centre of the head's flat underside. It has convex sides and a small circular aperture. The button measures 14.5mm long, 13mm wide and weighs 3.31g.

A copper-alloy button of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The head of the button is circular, with a convex upper surface decorated with moulded petals and a central pellet. Protruding from the centre of the underside is an integral loop with a small circular aperture. The button is corroded. It measures 14.3mm long, 11.1mm wide and weighs 2.47g.

A copper-alloy button of 17th century AD date (G. Bailey; 2004; pp. 31). The head is circular in plan and domed. The corroded upper surface is decorated with the design of a six-petalled flower head. The outline of the flower head is marked by closely-spaced v-shaped notches; at the centre is a smaller, four-petalled flower head with a central ring-and-dot mark; a random pattern of punched ring-and-dot impressions infills the remainder of the head.
