It composed of an equal armed expanding cross with the terminals of each arm touching to form a closed, circular, outer border. The cross has a lozenge shaped centre. A cast copper alloy leather strap mount with a tinned surface. The plate is convex and triangular, with a wide vase-shaped body which has a rounded projecting lobed terminal with incised lines on the wide end and a which tapers to a pointed terminal at the narrow end. The reverse has two integrally cast hooked fixing lugs. The overall form of the mount is unclear but may be a composite of elements with a vase-shaped plate and acorn and escallop shaped terminals. A copper alloy fitting, possibly from horse harness, dating from the post medieval period, AD 1500-1900. The openwork object is hollow. It has six petal shapes projecting from the base, these widen to a lozenge shape with a rounded knop at the end. Some of the petals have been bent out of shape. In the centre of the base is a rounded knop projection. It is likely that the 'petal' projections fitted over something originally. It has a dark green patina, and measures 14.00mm in length, 11.9mm in width, and weighs 1.31g.

An incomplete post medieval copper alloy mount, possibly a suspension mount dating to the 17th century AD. Oval central section flanked by two narrowed raised collars. At either end there is a circular projection, with a rounded knop. The reverse is concave, and at one end in the circular projection there is a separate iron rivet. The mount has a mid green patina, and measures 43.5mm in length, 13.3mm in width, 3.8mm in thickness, and weighs 4.18g. A similar mount can be seen in Read 2001, page 42, number 362.

An incomplete medieval to early post medieval mount, dating to c. AD 1450-1550. It is possibly a casket or book mount. The mount is a thin plate of copper alloy, at one end there is a triangular terminal, with a square perforation in the centre. The mount then narrows slightly, then extends downwards before ending in a worn straight break. The mount is slightly curved. There is no decoration, and the mount has a dark green patina. It measures 51.9mm in length, 17.9mm in width, 1.1mm in thickness and weighs 2.75g. Similar mounts can be seen in Margeson 1993, page 74.

A complete copper alloy lunate mount, possibly dating from the Roman period, dating to c. AD 43-410. The mount is formed of openwork, with four circular fittings joined by curved s shaped copper alloy bars. The circular fittings are hollow, and probably held stones or enamel originally. Running along the top and the bottom of the edge of the mount is a repeating pellet border, this is contained within a lined border. One of the corners of the mount is folded over. The mount has a red brown patina, and measures 39.8mm in length, 30.1mm in width, 2.3mm in thickness and weighs 9.66g.
