A tin coin with a central copper core. There are only a very few details on this coin and because of its metal content its either a William & Mary Tin halfpenny 1689-1690 or a James II halfpenny 1685 to 1687, a very faintly discernable 'II' can be made out if the coin is held at an angle in Natural daylight and this would more likely make it a James II

A very worn tin coin of William & Mary, probably a halfpenny, with a copper alloy plug in the centre of the obv. A seated Britannia can just be seen on the reverse.
