Post-medieval (?) decorative object, possibly a pin head or part of a brooch. The object is lozenge-shaped, and consists of a faceted, pink translucent stone in a white metal setting with four triangular protrusions folded in to hold the stone, and small serrations around the outside. Small striations are visible on the surface of the stone. The reverse has two D-shaped holes in the fitting, probably for attachment. The object is in fair condition.
