Earliest to Early Iron Age iron socketed axehead, probably of 8th to 5th century BC date The axehead is symmetrical in form and is incomplete, missing part of one face and side and is a small example (with a length of 88.6mm and a weight of 116.5g). The mouth appears to have been sub-rectangular (with a surviving external width and depth of 32mm and 27mm respectively and 3mm - 11mm thick). Prehistoric flint flake, probably of Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2000 BC The flint flake is a comparatively large example (at a length of 95.8mm, a width of 76.4mm, a thickness of 25.8mm and a weight of 142.8g). The flake is has a large patch of cortex surviving on its dorsal surface with a linear flaw through the surface, which is not evident on the ventral face.
