Earliest to Early Iron Age iron socketed axehead, probably of 8th to 5th century BC date The axehead is symmetrical in form and is incomplete, missing part of one face and side and is a small example (with a length of 88.6mm and a weight of 116.5g). The mouth appears to have been sub-rectangular (with a surviving external width and depth of 32mm and 27mm respectively and 3mm - 11mm thick). Prehistoric flint flake, probably of Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2000 BC The flint flake is a comparatively large example (at a length of 95.8mm, a width of 76.4mm, a thickness of 25.8mm and a weight of 142.8g). The flake is has a large patch of cortex surviving on its dorsal surface with a linear flaw through the surface, which is not evident on the ventral face. Medieval cast copper alloy thimble, probably of 15th or early 16th century date The thimble is near-complete with a length of 20.1mm and a weight of 8.0g. The rim is slightly damaged and has a diameter of 20.5mm. The walls have a thickness of 1.8mm. The rim is plain and has no incised border. The thimble has ten rows of hand-punched indentations, which end before the rounded top of the thimble, giving a plain apex of 6.8mm diameter. The thimable has good surface preservation with a pale to mid-green patina.

Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting of Post Medieval date, c. 16th century The fitting is looped and damaged with a surviving length of 38.99mm and is likely to have originally had three loops. The belt fitting has three perforations surviving across its centre with an iron attachment pin surviving in one of the perforations. The fitting has broken across one of the perforations. The fitting has a width of 29.92mm including the surviving loop which has an internal diameter of 6.2mm. The face of the belt fitting is decorated with cast floral motifs and has good surface preservation …

Post Medieval fitting from a firearm of late17th or 18th century date. Ramrod pipe or holder with an overall length of 86.0mm. The pipe has a pointed tongue that would have abutted the stock. The tongue is decorated with a stepped chevron and circular moulding. The pipe is tapering and has an internal diameter of 9.0mm at the rear and 7.5mm at front. The top has a perforated lug (14 x 3mm). The pipe weighs 15.5g.
