Ceramic foot from 15th/16th C. Pipkin vessel. Fabric is pinkish orange in colour with grog inclusions visible. It measures 48.5mm long by 42mm wide and 26.4mm high. The foot is roughly formed and tapers gradually from the base of the vessel. The base of the foot is flattish and is circular in section. There is evidence for soot blackening around the base of the vessel. Weight = 33.23g.

Circular lead seal matrix of medieval date. A non-heraldic, personal seal which probably dates from the mid 13th C. AD. The object measures 33mm diameter by 4.8mm thick and weighs 38.33g. It has suffered badly from corrosion and the legend is unclear. The central design sits within a circular border and is a fairly crudely executed fleur-de-lis pattern. The legend is unclear but appears to read: "[S]IGILLU[M] SIUV....." The lettering is poorly executed and heavily damaged. The reverse of the piece is plain, with no evidence of a handle.

Gold hemisphere set on a back plate and edged with beaded gold wire, diameter 14.5mm, ht. 10.4mm; total weight with detached loop 3.54g. The sides of the dome are divided by beaded wire into four fields below two rings of beaded wire framing a tall plain collar on the top. The collar holds a damaged piece of dark blue glass. Each of the side panels carries a curl of beaded wire, some ending in triple gold granules and granules are tucked into the corners of the design. A copper-ally pin of Roman date. The object is intact but severely bent. The head is button-shaped and measures 6.8mm diameter by 3.3mm high. The shaft tapers from 3.2mm diameter to a point. It has two grooves cut into the top of it, producing a single cordon. The approximate length of the pin prior to having been bent is 97.1mm. It weighs 4.27g.

A collection of 30 waste flint flakes. The total weight of the assemblage is 342.35g and the flints vary greatly in dimensions. The largest is 39.1mm high by 35.2mm wide and 13.6mm thick and weighs 27.23g. All of the flints have clear bulbs of percussion and rippling. Their forms suggest that they are Neolithic in date. They are all waste flakes with no re-touching.

Fragment of polished flint axe of Neolithic date. Fragment measures 38.7mm long by 32mm wide and 19.6mm thick and comprises the blade and lower part of the body. Flint scraper of probable Early Neolithic date. Basic shape has been formed by the removal of four vertical flakes. There is evidence of retouching around the bottom of the object and along the left hand side (as you look at it). A small area at the top is unworked. The reverse is unworked except for a bulb of percussion at the top. The piece measures 34.5mm high by 31mm wide and 12.3mm thick. Weight = 18g.

Anglo-Scandinavian horse harness fittings are discussed by Williams (2007), who illustrates a similar example to this piece (p. 5, (b)), from Soberton, Hampshire.
