Twenty five were found in one area, with a further ten 10m away in an adjacent field. They look freshly cast with indentations were the sprue may have been removed as opposed to a 'proud' sprue mark. Most of spherical and complete, but two are distorted, and this is probably as a result of miscasting, versus use. All the musket balls are a mid to light grey colour, with an even surface patina.
